Automatically create and manage (including retention and deletion) AWS native snapshots for Amazon EC2, RDS, and EFS (snapshot)
Use Amazon S3 to store snapshots of data. Dynamic worker* automatically initiates and terminates these operations
Backups can additionally use Amazon S3 Glacier and S3 Glacier Deep Archive to meet long-term compliance and retention requirements.
Amazon VPC settings are backed up to the FPT CBR database and can be automatically copied to Amazon S3.
* Deploying workers to a dedicated backup account (same as where the infrastructure is deployed) separates backup operations from customer production operations.
